what is the naming convernsion of the name, such as:

B115C002_111114_R28Q.MOV

What is the R28Q meaning.

This is a different format of the serial number of the camera that was used to record this clip.

Guenter is correct.  the R denotes Right (for 3D applications) and is settable in the menu.  The 28Q is the serial number translated in base 36 or 2906.
