 Hi Everyone,
I have a question about the alexa mont out. I plug in the monitor HD SDI PANASONIC to the mon out port, and when we pan the camera the picture movement is not smooth and we see the focus is off. Someone one explains for me about the problem? How can I make the picture movement smoother when I pan the camera. Thank You alot!

1) How fast are you panning?
2) What's shutter setting are you using?
3) What do you mean focus is off? Is the focus off?

Sometime the monitor refresh rate my look like a judder or studder. I use Sony OLED monitors and haven't had this problem on my Alexa Plus.

Thanks.

Thanks for your sharing, Robert.
1. I pan the camera is not too fast.
2. Shutter is 180 degree.
3. when I pan, the picture is moving and it looks soft. The movement of the picture is not smooth.
 Thanks!

And the output video is good? If it is, and I suspect it is, then it's your monitor. Some older monitors refresh rates will cause a shutter, or what some would say, a tearing. Is that what you're seeing? What model monitor do you use?

Set your monitor output to 29.97.   Some monitors don't handle 23.98 well.
