Has anyone created a good "Bleach Bypass" 3D LUT to load into the Alexa for realtime monitoring?

We should be sharing LUTīs as well too !. Are LUTīs compatible between different color correction software ?. For instance can a LUT created on Apple Color be loaded into Resolve ? Viceversa ?.

I don't know the answer to that questions; which is a very good one!
I would suggest to any Alexa user to take a look at DaVinci Resolve Lite which is free to use and download. It even comes with the Alexa Log C to Rec709 LUT that can be applied to a clip. I would image you could create a look in Resolve and then somehow take your Resolve look (3D LUT) file using the ARRI Look Generator that path? I need some guidance on the details.
Or even more simple, create a look in the ARRI Look Creator that would then be uploaded into the Alexa? Perhaps, base it on the some common scenarios taken from Log C stills......
I would like to know how to arrive at the "Bleach Bypass" look in the ARRI Look Creator.

Yes. Color uses .mga files, so convert it to Resolve's .cube file. By the way, LUTs are overused and in my opinion, unnecessary. The Alexa can output a Rec709 image that gives you 97% of what you need for the civilians on the set. Color correction tools are getting cheaper and easier to use. I do a lot of DaVinchi work helping fix baked in LUTs. Keep it simple on the set, or location, and do the heavy lifting in post, where it's safe to experiment.

Thank you for your post as I value your opinions and ideas. It would be great if there were some more "Looks" available in the monitor out as well as that can be applied directly to LogC footage in Resolve. Stuff like that adds value to the overall experience.

Did anyone have information on the bleached bypass look for the Alexa in resolve lite, or Arri look creator?

Resolve Lite 9 beta, go into the "Gallery" tab and you can select DaVinci Resolve Looks - Bleach Bypass.
