Hi all,

We just had this issue recently and could not recreate the bug once we got the camera back in house.  If anyone has seen this I'd be happy to hear more about what the cause was.

From what I gather this started happening with a fully charged H140 battery on the camera and the Fischer power supply plugged in.  When it wouldn't power down when holding down the "On/Off" button the AC removed the H140 and replaced it with another fully charged one.  The only way he could power down was by taking off the battery and pulling the Fischer plug.  When he attached another battery the camera would instantly boot up, where as the Fischer plug would not.  After hearing about the issue we were able to swap out the camera and get it back to the shop upon which we could not recreate the problem in house.

Any thoughts?

Hey Casey,

Was the problem rectified after the camera sat for about 20-30m with no power applied?

I will forward this to the developers and see what they think.  It sounds like a bug to me.

Hey Michael,

It was definitely powered down for 30 mins before having a look at it and spoke about this with JD, that the camera resets itself after being powered down for a certian amount of time.  Any thoughts?

Hi Casey,

the camera should only come back on when it is re-connected to a power source on the 2 pin, but stay off when something is put back on the 12V input. You describe that the camera behaves exactly the other way around. Generally, it would be very helpful if you sent a log-file and the date/time when stuff like this happened to service.

Best
