I and my DP agree to see noise in Blacks of Alexa footage?

Is it to do with ProRES compression?

Hello,

In order to get a deeper understanding of what you're seeing can you tell me what ISO you were shooting at?  Also, are you seeing noise or compression artifacts?

ProRes isn't noiseless, especially in the higher ISO's.

Thanks,
Mike

Please take a still image (Grab) and email it to me at mborenstein@arri.com.  I would like to see what you are looking at.

Thanks
