Yes it's based on Stefano Benni's book.. probably out on theatre in march
the cinematographer is Roberto Cimatti (AIC)

Grazie Luca, can't wait to see it! I know Roberto, very cool guy, I worked with him on a short film a couple of years ago, though I wasn't in the camera department.

Going back to the original topic of this thread, according to the Hollywood Reporter, here are more movies being shot with Alexa:

"Killer Joe", directed by William Friedkin, Cinematography by Caleb Deschanel
"Now", directed by Andrew Niccol, Cinematography by Roger Deakins
"The Three Musketeers" (3D) directed by Paul W.S. Anderson
"Bernie", directed byRichard Linklater
"Drive", directed by Nicolas Winding Refn
"Two Days in New York", directed by Julie Delpy.

Right now we've finished the first movie with alexa. The first one is "Rosario", Director - Albert Martinez, DP - Carlo Mendoza. ALexa was the choice of the DP for this movie, on the first week of shooting we use the d21 because at that time we still don't have the alexa, but on the second week onwards to the end of the shoot we use the alexa.

And right now we're doing a movie again with Alexa, entitled "Thelma", Director - Paul Soriano, DP - Odie Flores,
and right now we are on our second week of shooting...

Every DP and Director here in the Philippines who use alexa the first time, fell in love with the camera, because of wider latitude, good at night scenes without any grain at 800 asa.
