Nice new pictures of the camera,

is it possible to have a smaller version of the display on the operators side just showing speed, asa, wb and remaining footage?

I would make this part of the EV, selectable and on/off switchable.......

I agree that this should go on the LCD, not another display on the camera.  The cameras should be very clean on the operator side.  If you need more info you can hang an LCD display in front of you or display in the EVF (although I hope that can be disabled too so all you see is the image without any additional clutter).

On the LCD would be great as well, but not just in the EVF, because if you are the focuspuller and standing on the operators side you want to know you settings without having to go around the camera.

When we first release the ALEXA camera, there will be a display on the camera right side, and there will be status information and the ability to change the basic operating parameters in the electronic viewfinder. Future remote controls can be placed on the camera, to also provide a display and the ability to make changes on the camera left.
