I was wondering if there is an FTP server with footage from Alexa in LogC and REC.709?
Like the D-21 .ari demo files on the ARRI FTP server.

It would be great if Arri would upload some native Alexa files for workflow and software tests.

As soon as the codec is released, there will be many images to look at.

I'm in the process of having a local Arri inc. FTP set up.  Having some example footage for download shot in the different gammas is a great idea.  In the mean time, if you message me personally, I can see about sending you a DVD or USB stick with some material.

Thanks,
Mike

I'll probably release a lot of Alexa vs RED1 MX footy within a week and a half, both practical and pure test footy.

How can a non-wealthy filmmaker own a camera like that?  Through an ARRI video contest maybe. WHy not, ARRI? Just a suggestion.

Anybody have the link to the D-21 .ari files. I thought I had some footage. I just need some for a quick workflow test.

We have a number of clients asking for ALEXA footage to play with in post.  I shot some ALEXA material in various levels of ProRes in both REC709 and LOG-C.  Here's the link to the description of the material along with downloading information:

Hey Gunleik,

Cheers from Reduser. Look forward to that test footage. Just in reading the specs, I'm impressed with the approach Arri took with the Alexa. This is a great time to work in film!

Thanks,

Hi Vinay,
I'm glad d spot make u smile, this spot shot by my brother, he shot only on Apple ProRes 422 with simple workflow. The footage itself was good & almost little touch on final grade.
Will post some more link when our Thai TVC on air.

Cheers,
